Meet Our Doctors

Robert Kendrick, DVM

Dr. Kendrick is a 2003 graduate of Oklahoma State University of Veterinary Medicine. Since graduation, Dr. Kendrick practiced medicine in Oklahoma and Texas before coming to Claremore in 2016, and starting the Rogers County Pet Hospital team. He is married to Marsha and together they have a daughter, Maggie and a Shih-Tzu named Missy. In addition to loving his career, Dr. Kendrick enjoys slowing the pace of life down a bit by fishing and gardening.

Jonathan Stout, DVM

Dr. Jonathan Stout is a compassionate veterinarian with over 23 years of experience in small animal medicine. A graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he is skilled in diagnostics, preventive care, minor surgery, and client education. Dr. Stout is licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, USDA accredited, and an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA). Outside of veterinary practice, Dr. Stout enjoys spending time with his family, serving in his local church, and working on his farm. These activities reflect his strong sense of community, faith, and appreciation for animals both large and small. He is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized care that supports the long-term health and well-being of every patient.

Meet Our Team

Heather Sawyer

Practice Manager, Registered Veterinary Technician

Heather is a Practice Manager and one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. She has been with our clinic since 2022. Her favorite part of veterinary care is helping animals get over illnesses and talking with clients to form a connection. A passion to work with animals and a special interest in veterinary cardiology drew her to job. When she’s not at work, Heather enjoys reading, playing video games, crafting, and spending time with family. She has two cats, the vocal Winter who loves to play and snuggle, and sassy Summer whose favorite activity is bird watching.

Allison Story

Veterinary Assistant

Allison works with our Veterinary Technicians and Doctors to help provide medical services for our patients. She has been with our clinic since 2023. She attended school in Claremore and Bixby. Her favorite thing about Rogers County Pet Hospital is all of it! The environment, coworkers, clients, and best of all, the animals. You can always catch Allison giving your pets extra love and attention when she’s not assisting in surgery, dentals, or other procedures. Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Smoke.

Ashley Cruz

Veterinary Technician

Ashley works with our Veterinary Technicians and Doctors to help provide medical services for our patients. She has been with our clinic since 2024. Her love for animals and passion for helping drew her to the role, finding fulfillment taking care of pets and representing their best interests. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Zoey.

Cameron Stewart

Kennel Technician

Cameron joined the hospital team in November 2021. His love for animals and passion for helping people led him to the veterinary field, where he enjoys making both pets and their owners feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of work, Cameron enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and playing video games.

At home, he has a full house of furry friends: Shi-Shi, a Beagle/Pit Mix; Peanut, a Chihuahua; Victoria and Anastasia, two mischievous Miniature Dachshunds; Caus, a Maine Coon Mix; and Cher, a Siamese.

Fun fact—Cameron cheered competitively for 16 years and even holds a cosmetology license!

Aiden Bland

Kennel Technician

Aidan’s lifelong love of animals is what first inspired him to pursue a career in the veterinary field. Before joining RCPH, he spent a year at Tails a Wagn’ as a lead in the Kennel Department, gaining hands-on experience that continues to shape his work today. For Aidan, the most rewarding part of the job is watching the joy shared between dogs and their owners when they’re reunited after boarding.

Outside of work, Aidan enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, playing guitar, listening to music, and hanging out with his dog, Russel—a Cattle Dog mix who loves swimming and hiking.

Avery Bland

Customer Service Representative

Avery is one of our Customer Service Representatives. She has been with our clinic since 2023. She attended Rogers State University and Clary Sage College and graduated with an associate’s degree from both. Her favorite things about Rogers County Pet Hospital are getting to talk and share stores with our regular clients and getting to greet every pet who walks through the door. She has 3 cats, Stevie, Livy, and Clover, and 2 dogs, Marnie and Opal. When she’s not at work, Avery enjoys reading, watching horror movies, and card/game nights with her family and friends.

Marley Reed

Groomer

Marley joined our hospital in March 2025 and brings nearly six years of grooming experience to our team. What started as an unexpected opportunity quickly grew into a true passion, and today Marley thrives in the veterinary setting where she can build meaningful, one-on-one relationships with pets and their owners. As our sole groomer, she loves getting to know each animal’s unique personality and finds it incredibly rewarding to help pets look and feel their best.

Outside of work, Marley enjoys thrifting, cheering her son on at his soccer games, and binge-watching NCIS. At home, she shares life with a lively crew: her cattle dog Silas, her two cats Venus and Ash, and her dog Salvadore.

Marley’s warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals make her an invaluable part of our team.
